Bound4LIFE’s impact is not only being felt in our Nations capitol but in neighborhoods all across the country. The following story was sent to us from Jim and Teri Kohl in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Jim and Teri not only serve as leaders of a Bound4LIFE chapter they have also pioneered the Heartland House Of Prayer (HHOP).

Jim writes, "Hey Matt, we heard from Gabriel’s Corner, the Life Clinic across from Planned Parenthood. A girl stopped in Gabriel’s Corner and said she wanted an abortion. We have been praying for confusion in the enemy camp. She said she saw the protesters with the tape on their mouths across the street. She thought we were protesting Gabriel’s Corner (obviously she thought they did abortions) and she wanted to abort her baby. Talk about confusion, we stand in silence looking toward Planned Parenthood. Well to make the story short, she had an ultrasound and counseling is now keeping the baby. Praise God!!!!!! By the way they have not done any abortions in Council Bluffs for approximately eight months or so. But we still siege on Saturdays, as to not lose any ground that we've taken. Even though the clinic is closed on Saturday. We pray things and when God answers we are astounded at how He answers. We need to stand strong in Him in these trying times and let Him war for us."

Christina Martin is the director of Bound4Life Atlanta and an intercessory missionary at the International House of Prayer Atlanta. For the past 4 years Christina has given herself to the occupation of intercession. It’s her full time job to stand before heaven and earth, God and man, asking for mercy and crying out for truth. She prays, God hears, He moves, She is happy.

Christina is committed to fighting for the unborn. She feels for them because she herself had an appointment to die. Literally. 28 years ago her mother was sitting in a hospital room, waiting for the abortion doctor to call her into his office. An elderly black janitor saw her mom crying and asked her one question “Do you want to have this baby”? Her mom said yes, and the rest was history. She walked out of that clinic with hope in her heart and Christina still safely in her womb.

While in D.C God gave Christina a burden for the African-American community. She was shocked to find out how her race has been targeted by Planned Parenthood from the start of their organization. Christina is convinced she will see Roe v. Wade overturned and abortion end in her lifetime.

Jess Clark divides her time between writing, breaking up fights over Buzz Lightyear, and traveling with a missionary rock and roll band. She and her husband Richy are the parents of 3 small-ish children and are in the process of adopting a 4th.
Kaitlin comes from a family with a long history of pro-life activism having had to bail her father out of jail more than 50 times for efforts to protect the unborn and free speech. She's only been arrested herself on two occasions, but that's enough for street cred. Kaitlin captures the voice of a young generation desperately trying to reconcile Biblical truths with practical application in culture. In fact, she IS the voice of Bound4LIFE videos like "The Numbers Don't Lie" and "Houston, Now Is The Time."
Matt is a husband and proud father of four children. He's a full-time missionary serving as the Director of Bound4LIFE and the Justice House of Prayer DC. Formerly he had a career in advertising and marketing. Periodically he really wishes he had paid more attention in Government class.
Susan Tyrrell leads Bound4LIFE in Gadsden, AL and works with prayer ministries in the state. She completed her doctorate this year in educational psychology from Texas A&M University, and she teaches college English to support her prayer habit.
Tiffani Edwards works with a pregnancy resource center in Arizona and is in leadership over the Phoenix House of Prayer. Before living in AZ she was on staff with the Justice House of Prayer in Washington, D.C. for almost 4 years. It was while being in D.C. that her passion for governmental intercession and the ending of abortion was birthed.
