B4L & JHOP DC Hit The Road
It’s time to make the move. At the beginning of the year we made the exciting announcement that Bound4LIFE and JHOP DC were uniting under the banner of a single ministry. In the last 60 days, we’ve been busy relocating the Justice House of Prayer (now only three blocks from the Supreme Court), preparing staff and an internship and getting ready for an intense battle over the Supreme Court this spring and summer.
I am writing to you today to let you know that we will be relocating our headquarters to the DC area at the beginning of next week. So far we’ve been splitting our time in each office, but this will be the FINAL MOVE FOR ALL STAFF AND EQUIPMENT. This comes at a key moment even as three Congressmen have contacted us for prayer support in the last two weeks. We believe this is a key transition for the ministry, and we are asking God for increase in this area praying, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory!” (1 Ch 4:10)
We need your financial help now to make this final move of our headquarters and staff.
This will be nothing less than a small convoy of family and staff as we pack up what remains of our belongings and head for The Hill. It’s hard to find a balance for making these kind of dramatic changes at a time when financial support is so strained, as I’m sure you can well imagine. Everyone is feeling the added pressure during these tough economic times. So it is with humility that we ask for your additional support and help to cover the expenses associated with this move. Your donation today would help with the expenses of renting moving trucks, fuel, storage and housing costs during this transition. WHAT’S NEW?
- On February 5th Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had surgery for pancreatic cancer. She has since returned to the Court, but publicly hinted a week and half ago that the Court would soon have an empty seat. It remains to be seen whether she was referring to herself or perhaps another Justice, but without question we are entering into a critical and strategic time of prayer for the Supreme Court.
