Abortion Is Not Healthcare

BELOW ARE QIK VIDEOS from in front of Nancy Pelosi's office shot yesterday and today. My team and I have been "prayer walking" the House office buildings in the morning this week. First thing today it was reported from House Majority Leader Hoyer and Speaker Pelosi that it had been decided to postpone a vote on the current Health Care Bill until after Labor Day. This comes as a specific answer to prayer to slow this process down. I feel as though our prayers have been sand in the gears for what seemed impossible to stop not many days ago.

I felt a distinct urging from the Lord today to pray that "the voice of Planned Parenthood would be silenced throughout these halls and the will of the Lord would be made known." In recent weeks, Planned Parenthood has mobilized hundreds of lobbyists on the Hill and broadcast television commercials targeting Congressmen. In the wake of massive shifts in public opinion away from pro-abortion belief, they seek to be elevated to essential health care provider status. This amounts to unprecedented amounts of your tax dollars funding abortions, bailing out the abortion industry and launching the greatest expansion of abortion since Roe v. Wade. This cannot be allowed to happen.

Among other things, one major item that would be considered a WIN with all this is the insertion of language preventing taxpayer dollars from being used to pay for abortions. Currently that language has been conspicuously and deliberately absent. Without an exclusionary clause the door will remain wide open just as it was with Medicaid before the Hyde Amendment was put in place in 1976. Watch Senator Barbara Mikulski fumble for words trying to conceal the "A" word in this recent committee meeting as she sought to insure Planned Parenthood's inclusion.

Take up the effort right now to spread the word that "Abortion Is Not Healthcare."

Christina Martin is the director of Bound4Life Atlanta and an intercessory missionary at the International House of Prayer Atlanta. For the past 4 years Christina has given herself to the occupation of intercession. It’s her full time job to stand before heaven and earth, God and man, asking for mercy and crying out for truth. She prays, God hears, He moves, She is happy.

Christina is committed to fighting for the unborn. She feels for them because she herself had an appointment to die. Literally. 28 years ago her mother was sitting in a hospital room, waiting for the abortion doctor to call her into his office. An elderly black janitor saw her mom crying and asked her one question “Do you want to have this baby”? Her mom said yes, and the rest was history. She walked out of that clinic with hope in her heart and Christina still safely in her womb.

While in D.C God gave Christina a burden for the African-American community. She was shocked to find out how her race has been targeted by Planned Parenthood from the start of their organization. Christina is convinced she will see Roe v. Wade overturned and abortion end in her lifetime.
Ian Kelly is the "arm chair pundit" at Moral Outcry. He has worked full time for Bound4LIFE since 2007. His other responsibilities include local chapter development and new media communications. Besides being a political junkie, he enjoys history, sci-fi, super heroes and grilling.

She's only been arrested herself on two occasions, but that's enough for street cred. Susan Tyrrell leads Bound4LIFE in Gadsden, AL and works with prayer ministries in the state. She completed her doctorate this year in educational psychology from Texas A&M University, and she teaches college English to support her prayer habit.
Tiffani Edwards works with a pregnancy resource center in Arizona and is in leadership over the Phoenix House of Prayer. Before living in AZ she was on staff with the Justice House of Prayer in Washington, D.C. for almost 4 years. It was while being in D.C. that her passion for governmental intercession and the ending of abortion was birthed.
