The Prenatal Non-Discrimination Act
H.R. 1822, the Prenatal Non-Discrimination Act (PreNDA), could be our Solution to Abortion Industry's Targeting of Minorities.
On January 18, 2010, many pro-life people gathered to pray and stand for life in America. I truly believe and live my life in such a way in which confirms that power of prayer! Yet, I also yearn to see myself and others rise up to be the answers to our prayers. As we see a massive prayer movement arise in America for the ending of abortion and righteousness in this nation, we also want to see “feet” to our prayers.
Congressman Trent Franks has written a fairly new bill that would be an answer to ending the abortion industry's targeting of minorities. Here is part of his speech regarding the bill and its intent:
"Today, we remember Martin Luther King, Jr. for dedicating his life to the fulfillment of a truth outlined in the Declaration of Independence: that all men are created equal, regardless of their skin color. While we have come a long way in the 40+ years since his death, another major hurdle in the Civil Rights Movement still looms before us: the disturbing targeting of minority populations by the abortion industry."
"The abortion industry's biggest secret is that their entire movement was largely founded by eugenicists like Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, who infamously said, 'We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population."
"That appalling outlook has continued to influence Planned Parenthood and the rest of the abortion industry. Consider, for example, that a minority baby is five times more likely to be aborted than a white child. An astonishing 50% of African-American babies are killed by abortion. And nearly 80% of abortion clinics are deliberately located in or near predominantly minority neighborhoods."
"I introduced the Prenatal Non-Discrimination Act (PreNDA), specifically to stop this horrible trend of slaughtering unborn children on the basis of their race."
The H.R. 1822, the Prenatal Non-Discrimination Act (PreNDA), prohibits subjecting an unborn child to an abortion on the basis of baby's sex or race. It will make it illegal to knowingly perform, solicit, or accept funding for either race- or sex-selection abortions.
If this bill becomes law in America it would undermine the horrific vision of Margaret Sanger and the present foundations of Planned Parenthood. If truly 80% of Planned Parenthoods are located in minority neighborhoods then imagine the immediate decline of abortions in America with PreNDA! Be encouraged that God is rising up answers to your prayers and continue to pray that He will use men just like Rep. Franks. God undoubtedly heard the thousands of voices that called upon him in Houston whom specifically prayed for the unveiling of prejudice in Planned Parenthood and those who cry out across the nation daily for the ending of abortion.
