The Lethal Five Percent

Guess who made it back to a Planned Parenthood site? Yep, Bound4LIFE.
We have moved up from the "Anti-Choice Actions & Clinic Violence" section and have now reached the big time with (drum roll, please)"Anti-Choice Greatest Hits"
From Stand With Us:
Over 60,000 Minnesotans came to Planned Parenthood for health care this year alone. From family planning, to STI testing and treatment, to cancer screenings, Minnesotans understand and appreciate the important care Planned Parenthood provides. That’s why so many Minnesotans stepped forward and made generous donations to make our new flagship health care center in St. Paul possible. This building is a testament to the support we have in the community.
Despite the fact that 95% of what Planned Parenthood does is preventive care, there’s just no pleasing some people. And by some people, I mean anti-choicers. As expected, they’re tossing around their normal buzzwords and hoping something sticks. Let’s take a look at the top three anti-choice quotes this week.
Matt Lockett, Bound For Life.
"Planned Parenthood announced this week that they will be building their next 46,000 sq. ft. Abortion Supercenter in St. Paul, MN. What is an Abortion Supercenter you ask? That would refer to any abortion facility that's square footage exceeds 10,000. Think about most neighborhood-sized abortion facilities that are about the size of a single-family home. Brand new Supercenters are being built at a size that rivals your local Wal-Mart."
Jill Stanek:
“Environmentalists will be happy to learn PP is going green! Buildings used to kill babies to save the planet will be eco-friendly! PP of MN's new chop shop will be Leed-cerfitied..."
Speaking of buzzwords, did you catch the "preventive care" reference?
Anyway, the crème de la crème of this post came when, once again, "preventive care" was harken back to:
The vast majority of Planned Parenthood’s work is preventive. PP does more in one day to prevent the need for abortion than anti-choicers do in a lifetime.
The author of this post writes that 95% of what Planned Parenthood does is preventive care, this of course leaves 5% for killing people. And by people, I mean children.
Since 1973 over 50 million babies have been killed/aborted in America alone. That's a lethal 5%.
Sound off in the comments.
