Why Elena Kagan Is Dangerous

Yesterday the top Judiciary Republican, Jeff Sessions (AL), called Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan dangerous saying, "Be careful about it, because I'm afraid that we have a dangerous, progressive, political-type nominee."
The idea of her actually being dangerous may be foreign to most but to say her political and judicial views are dangerous is quite true.
Let me give you an example:
France - The quiet village of Villers-au-Tertre in north-eastern France was in a state of shock last night after the bodies of eight newborn babies were found buried in the ground.
By late yesterday afternoon, this sleepy hamlet had become infamous after police said it appeared to have played host to the worst infanticide in French history.
Two people – a married couple both in their mid-40s, he a roofer and she a nursing auxiliary – have been detained by local police since Tuesday, when they were arrested in connection with the discovery.
A neighbour, who had recently moved into a house formerly owned by the woman's parents, and in which the couple used to live, stumbled upon the remains of two of the children when he was digging a duck pond for his garden on Saturday, sources said.
Police from the nearby city of Douai called in forensic experts to determine if they were human remains. The answer, which came swiftly, prompted them to further their search. At the house where the pair live, the police discovered six more corpses wrapped in plastic bags.
What's this have to do with Kagan? Stay with me for a moment.
Kagan is ideologically committed to partial-birth abortion. If you are unfamiliar with that terminology it is also called Intact D&X method. This procedure has four main elements. First, the cervix is dilated. Second, the fetus is positioned for a footling breech. Third, the fetus is partially pulled out, starting with the feet, as far as the neck. Fourth, the brain and material inside the skull is evacuated, so that a dead but otherwise intact fetus can be delivered. Gruesome, I know.
Documents from Ms. Kagan's service in Bill Clinton's administration show her saying it would be a "disaster" if word got out that the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) "could identify no circumstances under which [the partial-birth procedure] ... would be the only option to save the life or preserve the health of the woman."
Is there any real difference between partial birth abortion and killing a newborn baby? All that has changed is location.
This couple in France are seen as monsters for murdering 8 newborn babies, and rightfully so. But what about ending the life of a baby ready to be born?
Kagan is dangerous because she believes that pulling a child, feet first, from his or mother and than puncturing the babies skull is morally, socially, and legally acceptable and just.
That's scary. That's Kagan.
