We’ve posted several articles here tracking with the progress of the "No Trespassing" sign that Planned Parenthood put on public property here in DC. Last Saturday’s event, A Time To Stand, was a significant victory in that the city recognized that the property was in fact public and open for Christians to enter—namely those that want to pray on site and do sidewalk counseling.
Well here is an amazing testimony of fruit from those efforts that comes by way of a local woman named Carolyn. In fact, Carolyn was the first person threatened with arrest and made to leave several months ago after Planned Parenthood erected their fence and hung their no trespassing sign. Carolyn returned this last week to once again pray at the facility which had been a regular activity for her before the fence was built.
Carolyn normally spends her time at the facility in prayer, but last week she decided to counsel as best she could. Carolyn counseled most of the young woman entering Planned Parenthood while she was there and made at least 25 trips right up to the entrance door. There were a total of six escorts present while she was there, but there was no opposition encountered either physically or verbally from them or any other Planned Parenthood staff. She was freely able to enter the property at any time. Thanks to Carolyn’s Holy Spirit-inspired counseling efforts, the lives of two babies were saved. There may have been others saved, but they are not confirmed.
A colleague of Carolyn’s writes, "Thank you all again for your great work in helping us to regain access to the public property in front of PP."
I have such a deep and profound respect for those that will take their intercession right to the gate of death and challenge it with words of LIFE. Lives literally depend on it. It would be pointless to fight for public space like that in front of this Planned Parenthood in DC unless Christians are willing to actually use it. Let’s fill every public space in front of every abortion facility in the nation with Christians interceding. Right now there’s about 749 abortion facilities and approximately 300,000 Christian churches in America. You do the math.
