Let me get this straight. Pro-abortion activists would have Americans believe that those opposed to the dismemberment of live human beings are "extremists," but those that are in favor of Partial Birth Abortion are "champions." Wow. Just wow. What a twisted point of view that is.
But that’s exactly the message that NARAL (National Association for the Repeal of Abortion Laws) would suggest. They celebrated the re-election of Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) in a blog post yesterday calling her their "great champion." This is a woman that defends the practice of even the most extreme abortion procedure known as Partial Birth Abortion–In my opinion one of the most barbaric practices that America has ever been capable of. Click here to see a very disturbing debate as Boxer defends P.B.A. on the Senate floor against Senator Santorum.
By NARAL’s count they tally up the new breakdown of incoming Pro-Life and Pro-Abortion officials.
| Composition of the 112th Congress | |||
| Pro-Abortion | Mixed Abortion | Pro-Life | |
| House* | 154 | 33 | 248 |
| Senate** | 41 | 14 | 46 |
| * Approximately 12 races have not been called. ** Two races have not been called. |

| Net Change in Abortion Composition Between 111th and 112th Congress | |||
| Pro-Abortion | Mixed Abortion | Pro-Life | |
| House | -27 | -15 | +44 |
| Senate | 0 | -5 | +6 |
NARAL cites Chris Coons (D-DE) as replacing a mixed abortion incumbent to the Senate. They also cite two pro-abortion House pickups in Colleen Hanabusa (D-HI 1) and Cedric Richmond (D-LA 2). NARAL also adds that David Cicilline (D-RI 1) and John Carney (D-DE at-large) will be pro-abortion Representatives replacing mixed abortion incumbents.
NARAL is licking their wounds and trying to convince their failing base of supporters that these election results are not a commentary on their dismal agenda. They are shouting to anyone that will listen that abortion expansion is still the right path for the America. They are wrong. Terribly wrong. They can deny science and now mathematics as much as they want, but it doesn’t change the fact that a cultural shift has begun.
The elections are over. Some results are still being counted. The next campaign season will begin more quickly than we like. I urge you to please join Bound4LIFE in ongoing prayer and fasting for the ending of abortion in America. How we carry this national tragedy from day to day will have a profound impact on what happens next. How we carry the 112th Congress in prayer will have a huge effect on how they govern. The onus is on us to not ease up now in the lull of post-election intensity.
