I was recently in Michigan at the Call Detroit, with thousands of believers crying out for healing and revival in that state. TheCall was a 24-hour prayer event that started on 11-11-11 at 6pm and went to 11-12-11 at 6pm. During that time, we repented for racism, worshipped Jesus through the hours of the night, contended for unity in the body of Christ, and prayed for the ending of abortion. The abortion section was one of the most powerful times for me. I found myself on the platform with a group of committed, passionate African-American leaders who have laid down their time, energy and lives to see the innocent bloodshed cease in this land. It was truly a history-making event. The prayers we prayed on those days will bring forth fruit for years to come.
That is why I was delighted to read the news reports that two late-term abortion clinics have just shut down in Michigan.
