During Q&A he mentions wearing his Life Band and answered a question from a young lady named Faith. Well, we know Faith. She recently wrote a guest blog post for us here on Moral Outcry. Jessica Clark is one of our beloved authors on Moral Outcry. She is a champion for the cause of adoption and has a long history with her husband of standing for the pre-born. A recent repost of a news story regarding a public funeral for a victim of late-term abortion stirred a fury of comments. As usual most of the negative comments were based in a refusal of the story's truth. It's much easier to just look away simply say, "That can't be real."
That's not what bothered us. Underlying most of it was a more disturbing attitude toward babies with disabilities and abortion as a legitimate solution to that "problem." Our culture is one of convenience and the life-long pursuit of ease and having more stuff. We've made it admirable by disquising it in patriotic language like the "American Dream," but seldom does it leave an opening for what these four mothers have to say.

Jessica Clark, one of our regular authors on Moral Outcry, recently hosted a discussion with three mothers that have personal histories similar to her own. All of them have first-hand experience with critically ill and special needs children. In this second part of a three-part video series, they continue to tell their stories which challenge all of us to begin thinking in a dramatically different way.
These extraordinary stories simply must be heard. They challenge the status quo of the culture that finds solace in aborting children that have been pre-natally diagnosed with critical illness, severe disability and even the possibility of mild disability.

Jessica Clark, blog author for Moral Outcry, hosted an impromptu discussion recently with three other mothers that have personal history with critically ill and special needs children. Their extraordinary experiences range from the impact of pre-natal diagnosis to adoption.
This talk was primarily prompted by a recent repost of a news story concerning a public funeral for a victim of late-term abortion. The response to that post was extreme. Many of the comments denied the truth of the image. Many disregarded it as pro-life propaganda. For us the most disturbing comments were in regards to justifying abortion in cases of disabilities.

Last week I sent an email to strategically update you up on the many pro-life laws being passed in multiple states and the lawsuits Planned Parenthood is filing to challenge them. Of particular interest was a new law passed in Kansas that dealt with requiring abortion providers to meet much higher medical facility standards. After Governor Sam Brownback signed it into law it was discovered that none of the abortion providers met the new licensing rules.
It was an exciting moment to think that Kansas might actually be THE FIRST ABORTION-FREE STATE as of Friday, July 1. Unfortunately, late on the night before Friday Kansas officials agreed to license the Planned Parenthood surgical facility of Overland Park in Kansas City. Then on Friday a judge blocked the new licensing law from taking effect sending the whole matter into the courts. As I said last week, "All roads lead back to the Supreme Court." This serves as fuel for our fire to pray over the courts of the nation and contend for our judges to be instructed by God’s divine law. LIFE must be upheld.

Pro-abortion advocates like the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League (formerly the National Association for the Repeal of Abortion Laws…not sure where the extra R went) are concerned about the unprecedented number of pro-life bills that have been steadily making their way forward in the state legislatures in recent weeks. Some of them are among the strongest the nation has ever seen in terms of restrictions on abortion.
What kind of restrictions does your state currently have?
Two weeks ago I traveled from DC to Northridge, CA. My team and I did a One Day Seminar for leaders interested in starting new Bound4LIFE Chapters in the Los Angeles area. What was unique about that gathering was that it was completely made up of Latinos. God has initiated an amazing work in the Hispanic community of Southern California, and the Hispanic church is being gripped with taking an uncompromising stand for LIFE…or VIDA in this case.
About 120 Latinos attended our all-day training including more than a dozen pastors. Some traveled from as far away as San Diego to be a part. I was thrilled, shocked and humbled to find out that 31 new chapters were started. I have more to discuss about this in other posts. For now please join us in prayer for God to release a burden of prayer in the Hispanic church to see the end of abortion and healing to come.
For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by volcanos and volcanic eruptions. The science of Volcanology tells us a great deal about predicting an eruption, and the different types of eruptions.
Some are like Mount St. Helen where the buildup of pressure is so severe that it blows the side off of the mountain in one cataclysmic bang. Other volcanos simply ooze molten lava from their fissures and caldera in rivers that travel far and wide, spreading out and creating an entirely new landscape by burning away all in its path and becoming the foundational rock for an entirely new ecosystem.
The eruptions are preceded by increasing tremors, small earthquakes that herald the arrival of the searing newness from within the earth. Those tremors are a warning to all in the vicinity that impending newness cannot be stopped, and will clear away the most recalcitrant inhabitants who do not respect the power below their feet that is rising up to meet them.
So it has been in New York City these past months with the Pastors from a broad spectrum of Christian churches, most especially those in communities of color. The government’s data on abortion have gone out and shocked the consciences of even ardent proaborts. 89% of all abortions in New York City are had by minority community members. Only 11% are had by whites. And now the slumbering giant of the inner city has been awakened.
