  • Army Veteran Must Take Down Flag Or Face Eviction

    By Ian Kelly • May 28, 2010 04:32 PM

    This is tragic to me:

An Army veteran in Wisconsin will be allowed to display an American flag until Memorial Day, but the symbol honoring his service in Iraq and Kosovo must come down next Tuesday, his wife told FoxNews.com.

Dawn Price, 27, of Oshkosh, Wis., said she received a call from officials at Midwest Realty Management early Wednesday indicating that she and her husband, Charlie, would be allowed to continue flying the American flag they've had in their window for months through the holiday weekend. The couple had previously been told they had to remove the flag by Saturday or face eviction due to a company policy that bans the display of flags, banners and political or religious materials.

  • Being Pro-LIFE Can Be Hard

    By Ian Kelly • May 27, 2010 01:00 PM

In a blog post entitled It's Easy to be Anti-Choice the Abortion Gang try to take the moral high ground by explaining that abortion is a hard but "right" decision:

It’s not easy to be pro-choice. It’s not because we’re wrong to be pro-choice (as I covered in a previous post, we’re not, and it’s nothing to be ashamed of), but let’s face it, abortion is a surgery, or at the very least a medical procedure. There’s nothing warm and fuzzy about a drug addict opting to have an abortion rather than have a baby addicted to cocaine, born with brain damage, and to a mother unable to care for her – just cold, hard, reality and pragmatism...

  • The Gift Of Belief

    By Ian Kelly • May 26, 2010 01:42 PM

I pray. In fact, I have given myself over to the idea that God does answer prayer and that intercession can change the course of history. But let me be honest with you... sometimes believing for the ending of abortion in America can be difficult. That's not to say I have stopped believing or have been devastated by doubts, no. It simply means some days are harder than others. A sentiment, I think, everyone can agree with.

In praying for the ending of abortion and for just and righteous leaders I have often felt the burn of misplaced hope. As well as desires left unfulfilled. It seems like whenever I have a good idea of how God could bring down the abortion industry... nothing happens. Or the exact opposite happens.

Facing defeats and setbacks is something everyone has to live with and learn from but when you believe God to do the impossible and know that he is fully able to do whatever he wants to do, you can become hurt by not "seeing" results.

I have bordered on the line of anger at God for not "responding" in a manner befitting him. That is to say, they way I think he should.

However, in my bout with anger God taught me a few things. Some knowledge that I hope will help you as you pray for the ending of abortion.

  • Ultrasound Picture Shows Baby Giving A "Thumbs Up"

    By Ian Kelly • May 25, 2010 02:07 PM

    This is just plain awesome:

Marie Boswell expected to get the latest information about the status of her unborn child from her physician. In a rare ultrasound picture showing her baby giving her a thumbs up, she got a progress report from the baby boy himself.

Bosworth was stunned by the ultrasound photo of her 20-week-old unborn baby giving her the popular sign when everything's all right.

"Free government is founded in jealousy, not confidence. It is jealousy and not confidence which prescribes limited constitutions, to bind those we are obliged to trust with power.... In questions of power, then, let no more be heard of confidence in men, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution."

  • Christina Martin is the director of Bound4Life Atlanta and an intercessory missionary at the International House of Prayer Atlanta. For the past 4 years Christina has given herself to the occupation of intercession. It’s her full time job to stand before heaven and earth, God and man, asking for mercy and crying out for truth. She prays, God hears, He moves, She is happy.

Christina is committed to fighting for the unborn. She feels for them because she herself had an appointment to die. Literally. 28 years ago her mother was sitting in a hospital room, waiting for the abortion doctor to call her into his office. An elderly black janitor saw her mom crying and asked her one question “Do you want to have this baby”? Her mom said yes, and the rest was history. She walked out of that clinic with hope in her heart and Christina still safely in her womb.

While in D.C God gave Christina a burden for the African-American community. She was shocked to find out how her race has been targeted by Planned Parenthood from the start of their organization. Christina is convinced she will see Roe v. Wade overturned and abortion end in her lifetime.

  • Jess Clark divides her time between writing, breaking up fights over Buzz Lightyear, and traveling with a missionary rock and roll band. She and her husband Richy are the parents of 3 small-ish children and are in the process of adopting a 4th.

  • Kaitlin comes from a family with a long history of pro-life activism having had to bail her father out of jail more than 50 times for efforts to protect the unborn and free speech. She's only been arrested herself on two occasions, but that's enough for street cred. Kaitlin captures the voice of a young generation desperately trying to reconcile Biblical truths with practical application in culture. In fact, she IS the voice of Bound4LIFE videos like "The Numbers Don't Lie" and "Houston, Now Is The Time."

  • Tiffani Edwards works with a pregnancy resource center in Arizona and is in leadership over the Phoenix House of Prayer. Before living in AZ she was on staff with the Justice House of Prayer in Washington, D.C. for almost 4 years. It was while being in D.C. that her passion for governmental intercession and the ending of abortion was birthed.
